WHY		More than 2 tons of solid waste is accumulated daily in Dar Baashtar. However, the municipality has limited local capacity to proceed with the management, sorting and recycling of solid waste. Contracting an outsourcing company entails high costs hindering the financial sustainability of a green approach and continued support to environmental protection practices. Therefore, an additional and locally owned truck is required to respond to this challenge and alleviate the budgetary constraints of the municipality.
HOW		The project will provide a compactor truck to collect, transport and recycle solid waste to a nearby landfill for improved waste management within the community. Go to the CHANGE page to make a difference!
