The Marjeyoun Governmental Hospital is an important health facility in an area including 70 villages and thousands of inhabitants in Marjeyoun and Hasbaya cazas. Through the support of Abraaj Capital and UNDP LIVE LEBANON Goodwill Ambassador Mr. Ghaleb Farha, an essential Gastro-Colonoscopy machine was provided to the hospital.



Now, patients needing medical attention in cases related to the digestive track can be accommodated at the Marjeyoun Governmental Hospital. Gastro and Colon examinations will assist hospital staff to better attend to patient needs, especially during the time of medical emergencies. In many cases, patients can avoid critical operations through medical examinations obtained using the Gastro and Colonoscopy machine. The importance of the machine lies in the doctor's ability to obtain significant information to determining specific treatment needs. In certain cases, therapy can be administered directly through the endoscope.
