LIVE LEBANON delivered a new generator to the Burj El Barajneh II Intermediate Public School in Al Mreyjeh. This will allow students to stay in class during late afternoon hours when the electric power is cut and provide them with continued electricity supply.
Before implementation:
Students at Burj Al Barajneh II Intermediate Public School could not finish the school curriculum due to electricity shortages. The effect of the lack of electricity was clearly reflected in their official exams.
After implementation:
LIVE LEBANON delivered a new generator to the Burj El Barajneh II Intermediate Public School in Al Mreyjeh. This now allows students to stay in class during late afternoon hours when the electric power is cut.
Burj El Barajneh students needed this support to achieve higher academic prospects. An alarming rate of students performs poorly in official exams. One of every two students fails to pass on to high school. The urgent need of this school of a backup power supply made this project vital for students to complete academic curricula and have a fruitful academic experience.
